Laptop batteries for extracting IMR 18650

Any one had a luck in finding IMR from a laptop battery? Which one?

My Dell and Sony packs were both ICRs. LG and Sony.

I wasn't aware any IMRs were used in laptops. They don't seem suited to the job. Are there some that do?

I think that with laptop cells, capacity is king and not current delivery.
