Did you try the normal testing by taking the tailcap off, and connect a wire to the negative of the battery to the unanodized side of the threads. That will give you an idea if the LED is ok.

Make sure you are using right batteries.
Contact Notecore if the light is faulty.
But you might have to wait before they can respond since they are on holidays.
