My turn to wait for USA mail, going on 3 weeks

So, I ordered a couple of Sofirn SC21 Pro on Dec 27th 2023
they arrived in USA 9 days later, on Jan 5, 2024

Im still waiting for them to get somewhere after New York. It has been 13 days since clearing USA customs.. poor me.. lol

International shipping has been really slow this winter.
In the past packages from Great Britain or Canada have arrived in less than a week.
This year the same packages are taking 3 weeks.

The shipping from China to USA is not that slow, usually gets to USA in about 6 days from the time it ships from the seller.

It is after the package gets to USA that the real delays start. My package has been somewhere in USA for almost 2 weeks already..

It has been 8 days without any USA tracking update, so far..

I got an update! a fake one, and a real one

first the fake:

yesterday, I got a text, from a phone number in the Phillippines, telling me that they were the USPost Office, and that they cant read the address on my package..

so they want me to clic a link to input the missing info.. I added the scammer to my blocked callers list

then today, there is an update on my tracking..

On Jan 20, the package went from
New York to New York, again..

it has been in New York since Jan 5 and has been moved twice, each time from New York, to New York...

at least I know its not lost

I've seen stuff from DHL go from San Diego to San Clemente, back to San Diego to Utah then Illinois then back to Utah etc.

Stuff from Fed Ex pass through my town on I-95 three times before being delivered (NC to DC back to NC)

I've seen UPS flub it some too.

But my favorite was when USPS would send it to a warehouse 50 miles from me then back to my post office, twice on the same day. After the 5th time I filed a report. It was destined for California and the day I filed the report I got a phone call from the California postmaster general saying "man I've been calling them all week asking wth are you doing, where's my package?" He took it personal and later I got a call from my local post office telling me they stuck it in an overnight bag and sent it to the warehouse.....and next day that too was back in my local post office. Tracking stopped after that. It kept saying "on the way". I don't know if somebody stuck it on an Amazon truck, a train or drove it cross country in a Hyundai but about 5 days later my buddy in California thanked me for the flashlights.

In my experience DHL screws it up every time, Fed Ex often enough to make me hope my package isn't sent by them. UPS is slow but hardly ever late. USPS overall has been the best in my opinion..... unless it comes from New York. Those folks.... man I dunno what to say about the NY USPS.

I think they have a room full of packages, and a guy goes in about once a week, and scans them out, and then back in, just to prove hes doing something..

There have been several large snowstorm and ice storms march across the country this year..

I've had several packages sit at various shipping hubs (for up to a week at a time) while the roads cleared up...

The good news is that a TS10 I ordered on Jan 18, arrived in 7 Days!.. That's a personal record for fastest.

Im feeling lucky.. going to buy a lottery ticket (or some more TS10's).. LOL!

Today my SC21 Pro package arrived in a city nearby.

It has been 30 days since ordering (before New Year), and Im hopeful it will be delivered in the next day or few ;-)

Meanwhile I spent some quality time with my new Wurkkos Orange TS10 ;-) (the record beating 7 day wonder, review here)
