The downside to technology: I know that at exactly 1:20 pm UPS delivered the package with my new Terralux drop in to my house.

I won't be home until almost 7:00.

AAARRRRGGGGGGGGHHHHHHH !!!!!!!!

StefanFS had a post on how to do it with pics and is what I followed. It's slightly different where you take the PCB out and solder copper wires onto the connection, seems to be more secure that way and is what I did.
Do you have a link to that?

I tried using the previous link to mod a 2AA MagLED (same idea) with less than stellar results. Looking for a B plan now.

Perfect, thanks for the link.

One of the prongs broke off my SSC P4 trying it the way that Cydonia did it. Doing it this way should allow me to save the emiter.

The TLE-6EXB is brighter than the MagLED in a 3D light. Not leaps and bounds brighter, but its noticeable. I also expect that its performance will degrade less over time. I usually only use the light for a few minutes at a time, so heat buildup isn't really an issue for me.

I got my order from Battery Junction in 45 hours from when I placed it online and opted for the cheapest shipping.
