The MD2 and MD3 hosts with switch ring will make for very nice 2 stage light options. Running the MC-E with 2X18500's will be an awesome combo, G.

I'm curious how many lumen and how usable the W MC-E is on a MD2/3 with the control ring on low. Also, what kind of runtime can be expected solely on high with 2X18500s (in the MD3 for instance). Thanks.

Around 18 lumens on low and about 1 hour and 20 minutes of good run time on high with 2X18500's rated at 1500mAH.
