These folks hit the jackpot. Wonder when they'll show up in Vegas?

I doubt that Vegas will let them get away with it, as similar things have been done there already & they "made them a deal they could'nt refuse" /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

/DISCLAIMER ON: I'm not a lawyer! This ain't legal advice.

I'm pretty sure Nevada law prohibts the use of "any device" to assist in gambling so that probably wouldn't have had as happy an ending there!

Sadly, law enforcement doesn't pay nearly as well.

I fully condone and encourage this activity. Maybe I'm evil, or I just recognize that casinos are evil. (not that i don't like casinos-- remember, i'm evil /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/evilgrin07.gif)

LOL, article says they didn't do anything illegal because they didn't actually interfere with the ball or the wheel?

That would most certainly NOT go over in Nevada. That would make things like counting cards, or using a computer to keep track of cards in blackjack or something OK. And that is most certainly NOT Ok to do in Vegas. They will KNOW if you're doing anything like that /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

OH, and you can bet that nobody will ever get a chance to do this again. Where there is money, laws can easily be made to protect it. Shall we start a pool to bet on how long it takes new legislation to pass there that will make any future such tricks illegal ?
