Led Effects have some innovative ideas on their books and are friendly to deal with,not a universal feeling in LED Land...

Would be tempted to add some red or yellows into the mix to warm it up a bit in a domestic setting.

Yup a regulated wall wart would probably do the job for a single light fitting.

Funny - I was thinking of adding some blue to "cool it down"

I like blue/purple a lot.

I can get a nice little regulated transformer that will fit into the fixture for under $10. Easy fix.
