Yeah today I got my ordered Jetbeam Element E3P, which is my first SS light. I love it very much, it looks very well-built. All the parts you can see, from top to end, is made by pure stainless steel, even the tail forward clickie(only for E3P). Because that it is designed for daily usage and not for pro-flashaholics, it has only two modes and can't support Li-ions ---- which is quite enough for normal usage, I think.

Maybe the only problem is that it's much bigger than other AA lights. And according to that, it is a little heavy as an EDC. But I don't care, I feel quite good when it's in my pocket.:p

Well, as usual, here are some pictures took several minutes ago.

Thanks for the pictures! :twothumbs

That light looks great, very simple, but elegant. Would look good next to my Fenix LD01ss...

Update : Couldn't resist and have to wait now...

Wow, look at the bezel ring, its got little teardrop shapes machined out of it on the inside. Very nice details. Nice thick threads. But no clip AGAIN!!!

Fineday,

Thanks for the pics, it's a fine looking light. I like the fact that it's a no fuss, two mode light. However, you said it's bigger than other 1AA lights, but how much bigger? Do you have a different 1AA light you could show it next to for comparison?

Thanks,

Dave.

Not at all.
My previous AA lights had been all sold out so there is no one left. But you can compare the light with the standard AA alkaline battery, I took a picture with both of them.:twothumbs

Great pics! hows the clicky like? does it actually click like a normal clicky?

The clicky feels OK but you have to push it thru the center, or it may be locked. Well, disadvantages usually come with advantages, SS clickie looks great, but I have to admit that it's not as easy as normal clickie while using.:sigh:

However, I still like this SS button!:p

It looks nice. :twothumbs

Did it come with a holster?

They said that the SS on the button is just a switch cover.

No holster, and neither the clip.

That SS button is a cover for sure, the clickie module is the same as Jet 3 Military. I'vde disassembled it yesterday night.
