Need some advice updating my EDC

I currently carry a streamlight Microstream usb. Love the rechargeable via USB option but I have slowly been changing to USB-C items. The Microstream is one of my last items that are micro usb ports. Are there some rechargeable lights that are in the AA or AAA size like this that can be recommended?
Is there an upgrade kit out there that can change my clicky on this microstream to a metal button from the factory rubber button. I have 2 of these and one has already torn the rubber button. I used to carry a Jetbeam E3S and loved the metal button.

If you use a standard size hole puncher and one of those plastic 'rewards' cards to create a plastic disk to go underneath the rubber boot you would no longer need to use the finger tip press (including the possibility of finger nail stabbing the boot) but can press it with the round portion of the finger thereby causing the rubber boot to last longer.

That greatly reduces the required travel of the button before it clicks.
