I have been working with Jeff at 4bushweaponfinishingsystems (quite a long name) but excellent work.
He has been doing knives and firearms and just recently expressed interest in coating lights.
I sent him a 6P, C2 and my Fire Kylin Porcupine L6.
I stripped down the 6P and C2 to just the tailcap, body and bezel. I removed the lens, o-rings, and tailcap switch. I left the L6-PP alone to test if he could coat with LED internals and tailcap internals left intact. Sure enough he can.
I had him coat the 6P in a basic bright orange. I had wanted a camo pattern on the C2 but he had difficulty in matching the colors so I changed my mind to make a C2-USA. I then had him coat the L6-PP in tactical coyote tan and had the strike bezel ring coated in black.
Here are the pics.
Just gorgeous. Simply stunning to hold and look at.
I like to call the C2-USA Captain America haha It doenst quite look like the 6P-USA but more like a Bomb red/white/blue Popsicle haha
