I'm looking to upgrade an old C2 that runs on cr123. The light will primarily be a nightstand light but will be my grab-and-go for fire/ems calls when I'm the OIC.

I think what I need is the XP-G2, S2, Orange Peel, 2.8-6v 1.4amps.

can I run a 3 mode without changing the clicky?

I noticed you have Solarforce L2 ECR extensions on your website. How much would it be to add one of these to my order?
Thanks Dave
Edit: are those L2 ECRs 18mm?

Re: XP-G2 / P60 STYLE MODULES

Dave,

I'm in the mood for something totally impractical.

What is the brightest P60 drop in you can make me that will work in a stock Solarforce host using 1x18650? LED type, estimated lumens, amp draw, etc.

I'd suggest a direct drive XML2 & run it off a Samsung 20r :)

Hi

99% of the XML2's we sell are pushed at a stock 3 amps a few have us drive to 3.7 amps so we really don't keep numbers over the stock amperage.

The module psychbeat mentioned will certainly be brightest but again since we almost never build that module I don't have any numbers. It will be the brightest but it is up to you to monitor heat and battery levels as there will be no low voltage warning nor reverse polarity the last is not a big deal .

I'm ok w/ sticking with 3A since it includes the safety features you mention.

The website doesn't have amp draw details, but i'm assuming that at 3A i'll get 700 OTF with neutral/warm, and 800 OTF with cool white?

HI

You are correct on all accounts, if you want i can add one resistor to spice it up a bit. If you want it just put in the notes to add a resistor.

thanks

These XP-G2 are awesome modules. I bought a 5 mode a year or so ago and the 3D tint and beam is PERFECT! The 5 modes drives me nuts though. I liked the idea of the moonlight, but in actual use 3 modes with a 5% low is better. Time to replace the 5 mode with a 3 mode. :)

I wanted to make sure you have L-M-H in the 3 mode. I know you did at one time. The customlites site says "3 mode" but the description implies the 3 mode is H-M-L. Wanted to make sure before I order that L-M-H is still available in 3 mode.

Thanks!

HI

It is low / med / high

As a note I also have a few 5000k 5C1's besides the 3D's.

Hi Dave,
not sure if question is good here - I post it because of the drivers ...

Could You do me:
* single Li-Ion cell (2.8-6 V?), 1.4 A max
* three level (l-->m-->h, as just mentionned)
* textured reflector
* memory
* potted

but with led:
1 * XM-L2, T6, 5000 K
1 * XM-L2, T5, 4500 K

is it possible to raise the med level from original: 5 % --> 30 % --> 100 % to something like 5 % --> 50-60 % --> 100 % ?

40,-- per drop-in
+ 12 intl. shipping to Europe (for both?)
?

Hi

I am a bit confused here especially since ordering in the XPG2 thread, I got that you want XML2's instead of XPG2's but you have stated 1.4 amps in the Paypal but here state normal amperage which is 3 amps.

Clue me in and I will get them finished right up.

Also easiest way for me not to get mixed up is go through the store then it is hard for me to get mixed up:) it also calculates shipping pretty close. Link in my sig line.

I will get them ready and if you let me know on the amperage I will get out. I imagine you want full power but I want to make sure.
