On the last picture you can read what the different slots in the case is designed for, one of them is for "Single channel Charger (ARE-X1)"

Thanks.

Until you test it, it might as well be vaporware to me, lol and I'm a Fenix fan.

Same here: no HJK review, no charger!

Found a page where it is already advertised:
http://lumenhouse.ru/catalog/batteries_and_chargers/umnoe_zaryadnoe_ustroystvo_are_x1_18650_26650/

It seems it will only be able to charge 18650 and 26650. The lack of the slider as seen in the picture would confirm that. It's a shame as for a 1-bay portable charger, I would have liked to have something more versatile but maybe it's just me! It does at least seem to be able to work as a charger for external devices through a USB port.

Fenix Store have their product page up for the Fenix ARE-X1 single bay charger. As predicted it charges only 18650 (26650).

It's expected for release in early September. For roughly 10 dollars, if it works fine, it would be a decent option for a 18650 portable charger. Hoping for a review to see how it fares against the Nitecore UM10, Klarus CH1, and other one-bay chargers available on the market!

I was thinking about using this charger in combination with the Nitecore HC50 Headlamp which accepts only button top 18650's. Will this charger work in combination with the Nitecore button top accu's?

Sorry was late for work yesterday and forgot about it. I expect the charger to work fine with button top but will check in 4/5 hours and post again to let you know! :)

I've tried to charge the NL183 (2600), NL188 (3100), NL189 (3400) and they all fit and charge fine. I have to no reason to think their 2600 won't charge.
