It just gets dimmer. I do have useable tritium lights more than 20 years old.

It does not matter when it is manufactured, it just goes down to half what it is now in 12 years. Assuming the phosphor is acting somewhat linear.
Of course there is no way to conserve it.

Ok you lucky, lucky people Orb has decided to offer you all a tritium locator milled into the Orb RAW . Of course this will cost extra (£6 / $12) which is a very good price as this is the normal cost of the tritiums, nevermind the extra machine work and fiddling with the vials themselves. They will be the 12mm x 1mm locators. Anyone who asks to be added to the list from this point on please state if you would like a locator and state wether blue or green.

Ok I tried to avoid a flood of posts saying "I want a trit" from people who are already on the list by asking them to post only if they didn't want one, however at that point I didn't realise there would be 2 colours.
