There IS a difference between a "Light Engine" and a Light Engine "kit". :)

It takes time to build light engines , so maybe the kits will be available first??

Light Engine Update:

We have the ES-Can and emitter board. Received the EScrew today, but they were not anodized. Had to rush them to the anodizer. Slated for pick up next Thursday.

I think there is quite a bit of pent up demand for light engines both for 1xCR123 and 2xCR123 bodies, such as the Nexgen 750 and DB917. I notice that the U bins tend to sell faster than the T bins. Which light engines do you intend to stock soon? And thanks for passing on the low price for the Ti bezel rings.

Also, any more McGizmo's new McTC Tailcap with Rubber boot and McClicky switch going to be available? Will the HA natural still be the shiny smooth texture or will they be more matte?

Long ago was mentioned a possible 3xAA dropin -- still possible? (I have several 3AA Brinkmann lights waiting).

I use cutdown M@G (one-AA) lights a lot, with
-- a Madmax Q3-Wide Open and
-- a Madmax Lite Lux3 TX1J/K
using NiMH 2300 mAh AA rechargeables. I like the small size but wonder --

Is there a lithium-ion rechargeable AA size that would fit, and would the voltage (3.6, I think?) be safe to use with these two Madmax boards?

I did poke around but didn't find the answers, hoping some regular reader here knows.
