Orbtronic 21700, 18650 and 16340s

I happened upon the Orbtronic website, and they seem to have a good selection and pricing of the three battery sizes mentioned. I'm specifically looking at the Orbtronic branded protected batteries:

21700 - ORB-5000P-21 - 5000 mAh - 10 A max continuous discharge current
18650 - ORB3500P - 3500 mAh - 10 A max continuous discharge current
16340 - ORB16340P - 880 mAh - 3 A max continuous discharge current

Does anyone have experience with any of these cells, or with doing business with Orbrtonic? Your feedback is much appreciated.

Owner Sal gives great customer support as well fast service.

Depending on where you're located, West Coaster can get equally great service from illumin Supply in San Jose CA..

I've never had issues dealing with either of these two businesses 🇺🇸

I bought six of the Orbtronic 16650 cells nearly two years ago, and they're all working fine. The positive and negative terminals still look good without that cruddy aged look that some batteries get.

I've also got a pair of their 18650 cells that are a bit older than that, and they still work fine too.

I would not hesitate at all to buy from them again.

The cells all arrived nicely packaged too!

Yes, they make quality cells and at a reasonable price for protected cells. They make the best 16650s, 14500s, and 16340s, and 26650s. For 18650 and 21700, just make sure your light doesn't require over 10 amps for their protected cells. Some of the newer lights require 15+ amps. For most lights 3000 lumens and under, their cells work fine (21700 for the 3000 lumens, don't try to get that from a 16340).
