Hello.

My 2 heatsinks arrived well and safe, but they were not quite as I expected.

They are not flat on the surface that fits against the underside of the Seoul LED. They have ridges and a stud that has not been properly machined away. It is a problem since the heat transfer is suffering.

As I was in quite a bit of a hurry to finish a long awaited for gift I had to improvise and dremel away the stud on the one that had the best surface, with only a protruding stud. I had to isolate it with arctic alumina. That was not really my intention as I prefer to mix my own epoxy with the better arctic silver, thus requiring an anodized heatsink. But still, I have one unusable heatsink and I feel I did not get what I paid for.

I'm sorry I did not notice that. I'll replace yours once I receive the improve version in 2-3 weeks.

Anybody that has similar defects please let me know. I'll replace it for you.

I would like to inform everyone that I'm out of DHS "C" for 2-3 weeks. You are looking at the end of May for the new batch to arrive.

Hi!

I received my two Heatsinks for M*g "D"-Cell.
But there is a problem. They doesnt fit into my M*g Body. :(
It seems, that theye are about ~0.5-1mm too thick and I
dont want to press them by violence into the body.

Does anyone else have this problem, too?

A suggestion for the seoul ssc heatsinks is to make them a little shorter/lower, one mm or so. They need quite some unscrewing to get properly focused with the standard mag reflector/kai OP reflector which makes the mag head wobbly. I use an O-ring under the reflector to raise it a bit.
