$15 for a police duty light?! C'mon! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ohgeez.gif Did you tell him about the advantages of a rechargeable and how much police type lights generally cost?

Tell the Lt. that he makes the big bucks so break out the wallet and spend a little more on a better light. $15.00 flashlight for a Lt. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/twak.gif

How about:
Mag 2C = $15.00
Radio Shack KPR112 = $1.30
3 X CR123 = $4.00 (internet)
Total = about $20.00
Durable and super bright...
If you need some info on conversion, post here or PM.

Good Idea!

Either this mod, or a BrinkmannLegend LX!

Yeah, well, he thinks I'm crazy because on me when I'm on duty I have the following:

Streamlight Stinger
Surefire M2
CMG Infinity Ultra G
Arc AAA

and in the car I have:

Streamlight Ultrastinger
30 SF123 batteries
spare P61 bulb
(Patrol car also has 55 watt halogen take down and alley lights, although they may be getting an upgrade soon, hhmm)

Oh and I have a moded M*G 5D with wrightright, and a radio shack xenon bulb in it (overdriven) to show off to other crazy cops who still think that m*gs are descent. I can show them just what a few dollars will do to their lights, and how my Ultrastinger is still a million times better.

I think I'm going to look into the Pelican rechargeables...
