I currently use two RCR123A (AW's) in a Fenix PD3. I've now been informed about some dangers of lithiums. Now I'm considering not using RCR123A's at all, and changing my lights. I frequently hold the flashlight in my mouth when I use my hands for task, so this is a lot different than having one go off in your hand.

I'm trying to get a better gauage of the safety issues. Here's some LED light questions that might sound silly, but I'm trying to emphasize the risk.

Would you trust and risk two RCR123A's in series in your mouth?

Would you trust and risk one RCR123A/18650 in your mouth?

Would you trust and risk one NiMH AA in your mouth?

Is there a rechargeable lithium as safe as NiMH?

I'm more concerned about the chemistry than the brand, because you never know when a highly regarded brand is going to have a defect.

Thanks,

Jake
