I don't have LD50, but I like the idéa. The function of LD50 is practical. It's like two coupled flashlights with a common switch. I have bunches of 18650s, 17670s, 16650s and CR123s. It doesn't matter: just put in a 18650+17670, 18650+2xCR123 and so on. No need for matching the cells between the tubes. Apart from that the design makes it not very bulky in the pocket or outside the pants with the pocket clip.

Is not bulky, but is little heavy...more than 300grams (10-11 oz) with cells inside.

its a great light...i have been using mine for a couple years now and i really like it. the shape is great and so is the illumination. i got mine off ebay for under a hundred bux.
