I have had many root canals. Most of them went well, except for a couple of sessions.
1. One tooth had extra canals that the dentist did not detect, so it had to be redone 3 times - 3 times!
2. Another time, everything went well, except that it cost me 3 days in the hospital afterward! That was because the routine antibiotic that they always give you killed too many of the good bugs in my gut, and the bad guys had a hay-day. They called it a "c-diff infection".
Leave it to me. Too many times I have had the unusual or unlikely happen.
