same reflector (kl6) but XP-e2 or XM-l2 what will be the best throw?

Hi guys,

I'm considering to mod a SF kl6 head, but I don't know if the large and deep reflector will work better with XP-e2 or XM-l2?

1.5 A for both options for the LED.

I have always understood that the XP-e/2 has a lower efficiency at the same current, but the smaller die matches the focal point of the reflector better.
Also, is there more lumens/surface(die) on it?

On the other and the XM-l2 is more efficient, but has a larger die, so less light is directly on the focal point
Is the lumens/surface not as high as XP-e2?

In conclusion, which one will throw better on this kind of reflector?

XP-E2 for sure. But, that is out of spec, you could better got with the XP-G2.

The efficiency of the XM-L might be higher, but the brightness of the die is a lot less.
