Interesting. I EDC a Peak Vesuvius and (one of many) 10440 lights (same battery), keys, and a knife. I have plenty of back-up lights in my primary car and at home. If I'm traveling, I take a bunch of my collection, a charger and spare batteries come along.
If you're edc-ing an M9, I'm gonna give up on looking up prices of other items you carry
That lighter looks awesome though. I used to have one but it was crap-crap-crap quality. Still looking for a nice and unusual titanium lighter, preferably fluid type because the butane (?) refilling always sucks.
Also; my EDC is:
- Fenix E11 or EagleTac D25A Ti
- Leatherman Style CS (keyring)
- Phone (obviously)
- Keyring button light from IlluminationGear
- Sansa Clip Zip with Creative EP630 earbuds
- Wallet
I also often carry a Canon G7, but not enough to be considered EDC.
Do you wear the M9 like that for prestige/status or accessability? I would imagine there'd be a security concern with wearing it exposed in an urban environment.
dont quite understand the slingshot either.
aesthetically pleasing EDC though, if thats what you're going for.
Modern slingshots are awesome... about as accurate as a pistol, more fun to shoot, lethal on small game and EDC portability and legality (well, except NJ). Not going to do you much good for self-defense purposes though. I'm flat-bander myself.
Nice things.
My EDC other than keys, wallet and phone:
Smokes and a Bic lighter
Photon mini on key ring
Eagletac D25A clicky Ti
Casio G Shock Atomic
Spyderco Rookie G10 or BM 940 Osborne S30V
Kahr CW9 w/extra mag or Sig P220 w/extra mag. Depends on what I'm wearing.
Ichiro Radioactive Boomerang (just kidding)
Nice camera ! - that is my dream camera to own (or whatever replaces it)
I love the simple, shutter button, aperture, shutter speed and focus dials, minimal electronic gadgetry to get in the way style of shooting, my Canon 1Dmk4s are nice, but are big and heavy, and overly complicated
I keep buying torches, and knives, and tools though, but one day I will own a proper Leica rangefinder
