Surefire big light

I recently bought a light I've been putting off purchasing for years.The big $1200 Surefire Dominator. I'm a Surefire collector and have more than 150 Surefire lights. I know, insane.I really expected more.This flashlight needs a flashlight to operate. Un able to find the power buttons in the dark . Needs a master switch in the tailcap. They claim it weighs less than 5 lbs.. 10 lbs if it's an ounce. Seriously, I'm a die hard fan. But what were they thinking? Am I missing something?

I can remember discussing the Dominator 10X with an LEO back in the day. It had a cool name but just wasn't for me. Now the Led Lenser X21 was more my style, like a Mag-lite 4xD on steroids. It seems to deviate from the standard style and belongs in a SF collection.
