Does anyone know of a thread or website that shows all the versions of the E2D defender and their specs? I have a 200/5 lumen LED E2D defender and I am trying to figure out if I can swap in a different dropin for a brighter light. I know if I had a incan I could disassemble and swap in a LF dropin.

Thanks!

Had the 200/5 version. Difficult to open but a straight emitter swap to latest gen led will 2x output.

Doesn't really take drop-in.

Edit - the results that would await you with just an emitter swap.

(Top) SF E2D w/original XR-E vs Malkoff M61NL (for reference)
(Bottom) SF E2D w/swapped XP-L Hi vs Malkoff M61NL

Munkel, check out the following link.

Munkel, check out the following link.

On post #4, ten5three details the emitter swap on his E1b. If you can still get the XPL2-HD 3000K board, it would seem a natural match for a 16650 cell. I'm guessing it would not handle 2x primaries.

My post above is not appearing the way I want it to; my apologies for any confusion...
