I have an older Surefire Outdoorsman that uses a 60 lumen bulb which is burnt out. I thought maybe I should get an LED upgrade but have no idea where to start looking. The flashlight was a present many years ago so I would like to keep its appearance original. Something that just replaces the bulb and keeps the original head body and tailcap.

Apparently for this light the only thing available is a complete replacement head. Does anybody have any idea what a fair price for this light would be?

If the light has sentimental value to you, purchase a replacement bulb and keep in reserve.
Figure out what you want to carry as an edc light and purchase another light.

The OP does have several upgrade options ranging from Lumens factory LED upgrade to folks here on CPF like TANA's versions. Right now there is a decent factory KL1 head for sale. http://www.candlepowerforums.com/vb/showthread.php?413005-WTS-Surefire-E2e-Kl-1

It's an older style 2nd gen head that will work fine on either a E1 body or a E2 double cell. And IIRC output is about 50 lumens on 2 primaries.
