Which of these two lights has the better throw? I want a light for hog hunting purposes and need something to hold a tight beam out to about 100 yards. Is there something you would suggest that is better in the under $100 range?

Thanks!

I'd go with the TK11 for throw - slightly larger reflector, and the R2 emitter puts out a bit more than the TA20's Q5. You might also want to consider an Olight M20 with a smooth reflector. Well-proven, tough light that also runs an R2 and I believe will slightly out-throw the TK11. Another nice thrower in that size range is the Jetbeam RRT-2 Raptor which will out-throw all three. Bugout Gear has a great sale going using the code "cpfjet" - 20% off!

I'd go for the Eagletac T100C2. I sold my Tk11 when I got the T100C2. Better beam and longer regulated runtime on an 18650. Cheaper too.

My TK11 throws better than my M20 but that is with the stock reflectors. Either would be adequate for the job but if you can stand to carry a bigger head the Dereelight DBS would be a better choice.

The EagleTac seems to be the most bang for the buck. I think I'm going to make that happen. Anyone disagree?

EDIT: Just bought the EagleTac T20c2 with smooth reflector, i'm pumped.
