The little 18340 (CR123) tube will be the same diameter as the light. So the only difference will be a shorter length.

chipwillis it will only be an 18340 battery tube. It will be for people with the Ti 26650 Light already.

I was thinking a couple more people were going to want it. So I made four of them. :) See, I need to tell my wife that she is wrong..... I do think about others. :nana:

Chris

A little 18340 tube sounds great, will it be the same diameter as the 26650 tube? I'm hoping so.

I also see we have a few interested in a TI D36 head. :poke: Just hoping there too.

I will post a picture so you can see the difference in length from the 26650 to the 18340(CR123) tube.

Ok. About the D36 Head. Just the material for the D36 head is around $100.00 ea. That is a very large head with a lot of machining so I know the cost will probably be fairly steep. I can try to get a ball park figure for anyone that is till interested.

Let me see if I can finish machining the back end where the tail cap screws in. I will try to finish it today so they can ship today. I will post a link to the store to purchase it.

Karl, Not a problem. The product on my store will be for invite only. So you can only purchase one if you have the link I send. So your 18340 tube will be there when you order. :)

Halibut, I totally forgot you ordered one of the Titanium lights also. I guess I will have one for you as well. I will just have to make another one for me sometime later down the road. :) Oh well, that is how it usually goes.. No problem at all.

I will PM Everyone the Link when I finish machining.

I know I'm still in for one (D36 head that is).

Chris, I'm curious as to the construction of the 26650 bodies. :)

They actually appear to be in 2 parts as there seems to be a join not far from the neck of the 26650 body which the head screws into. Therefore I was wondering whether they have some sort of built-in adaptor piece?

A few little hints.

I think the V3 head looks the best on it but I need to keep the V3 head on the 26650 body to use with the higher powered quad drop-ins.
I can't wait to get a titanium D36 head for one of the 26650 bodies. :poke:

Thanks Again Chris for making these.
