Simple rule of thumb: on damn near any light that houses multiple batteries and just 1 LED, batteries won't make that big of a difference.

Just as long as the batteries are all the same brand and type and they don't have "ultrafire" in the name.
good info thanks!

Beam Shot: 0.39 Miles (635.47 m) or 2084 ft.

Took with Galaxy S7 Edge (Not the best photo but all i had)

FL 4.2mm
Exposure 1/6sec, f/1.7, ISO 400

I could see channel markers over a mile away but phone went dead before i could take photos

Edit.....Guess the pics will work when i figure out how to get photos to share, or paste etc...Links are working though. One is beamshot. The other is a google map.

Hahoo posted April 27, that guy May 13.

Either hahoo is on both with different names and decided to only post on blf 16 days after cpf, or its pic stealing.

Probably hahoo has an account on BLF in a different name. I do, I just rarely ever go there to use it. So does Mr. Capolini, incidentally. [emoji38]

No big deal unless the BLF poster stole them from hahoo. They are awesome photos of the TN42vn, I'd be posting it wherever I could if I had the skill to take it! [emoji4]

I think I would prefer more lumens with just a little less lux than less lumens and a bit of a bump in lux.

Great numbers though Vinh!
