I've been playing with the 18500 TnC SF tube and it's a really slick set up on the VIP BBH. The other VIP heads look like they were made for it as well. This may be my favorite beam to date using the X bin through the 3" reflector. You get roughly the output of a trilux but with more throw with a tighter hotspot. I also have an adaptor ring to mate the AA body straight to the VIP heads but it's a little strange this way.

Chris also posted some lantern polycarb caps on his site. I find this type of lantern setup very useful.

Sorry to dig up such a old thread. I just acquired one of these wonderful X-binned lights! Two questions.....

1. Which Rip-offs holster fits this LuxV Special Edition?

2. Any updates on the Turbo head project TnC was discussing???

Rip-Off Model CO-137 is what came with the light (XY0S)

Turbo Heads for the 5w are in prototype stage according to Chris O.

thought I recall possibility of using the VIP BBH head using a threaded

adapter over the LLV body ....
