Upgrade an old Fenix TK41?

Hey everyone....just curious if there is a cost effective way to upgrade an old TK41 to a more current emitter? Something in the 6k color/ 40k candela options? I have never done a mod so I am trying not to talk over my own head.....thanks in advance

While modding can be rewarding. I find selling my old lights and buying new to be a cleaner solution.

What are you trying to accomplish with your upgrade?

A TK41 is 6500 color / 55,746 cd with a XM-L T6, 6500 color / 59,000 cd, with a XM-L U2. Would 6k color be noticeably different in anything other than a side-by-side comparison? Why do you want to shorten the throw?
