i too noticed that. for a split second i wondered if it was a selector ring. but thats just crazy talk. Here is my "enhanced" version:
Styling might be similar...
Anyone notice the small circles in this image? Maybe another open head air cooled design...
im having difficulty figuring out what the 10 "ecosystems" are. so far i got...
1- bezel (material/finish)
2- head (material/finish)
3- light engine
4- body (size/finish)
5- tail cap (style/finish)
6- tail switch (clicky, zrs, ect...)
7,8,9,10???

Bodies exist in slim and regular, for 18350, 18650, 2x18650 and I think even 14500 at one point. Plus body extension tubes maybe?
Sorry for the confusion. Ecosystem refers to customer metal choices that appear externally. ring/head/20/35/50/65/100/130/cap is 9 parts before even adding variations of body shape etc. BOSS will have fewer choices, requiring fewer parts, simplifying production and stocking logistics. Leaving room for other options.Maybe are this the 10 main categories
We are showing the head first.Or a tailcap?
What if the S.S. in B.O.S.S stands for side-switch?
