Great minds think alike. Had my eye on the Orca for some time now and just today had my finger on the trigger to get one....

I think your lume shot put me over the edge. No question the killer whale has killer lume. Cheers!
It's new. I love dive watches and the fluorescent orange minute hand is what pushed me over the edge! Plus I haven't bought a watch in a while.:D

I really love the unique design and also haven't bought a watch in years. The Orca caught my eye now I think I'm definitely going to grab one. I'm a huge fan of watch lume and there's only a handful of affordable ones that go crazy with Super Luminova layering. The blue/green combo on the Orca is phenomenal.

The only thing missing is a built in UV led in the dial to charge the lume like on my trusty old Casio ProTrek.

Silly rabbit!

What are you thinkin' posting a bright flash picture of a LumiNox. It's a TRITIUM watch, gotta show off the glow! H3 is porn material on a flashlight forum.

Try flash off in dim light and manually dial up some exposure. Let's see them tubes!
I know! I was tired when i found this thread. Worse is when you're tired and you use your flashlight to charge the lume and realize you're wearing a lumi!? Then you think how long you were holding the light over the dial? 2sec, 10sec 30sec?

Absolutely outstanding 👏

Since this is a light-in-the-dark obsessed community, I think there should be a lot more lume showoff pictures included here. All well and good to have a nice looking watch in daylight but I'm a true fanatic of bright and creative lume models and designs and love to see what your watches look like in flashlight 🔦 (dark) conditions.

So bring out yer best SuperLuminova and tritium tube designs and let's see some serious GLOW!

Also would be really useful to index the makers and specific models that have exceptional lume performance, like an informative buyers guide and wish list maker for all (like me) that go crazy for REALLY BRIGHT watch lume. Any recommendations for brightest lume would be hugely appreciated.

@GadgetGeek we are kindred spirits in lume appreciation. The Nite Hawk is phenomenal, I'll have to take a look. Thanks for posting.

What say you, CPFers? Let's see that LUME!

Cheers!

I picked up a reissued Momentum Sea Quartz over the winter, came with a free Magnum PI Hawaiian shirt and everything. Haven't had the time to adjust the bracelet but it looks nice. Been wearing the same Citizen Eco Drive diver for the last decade. It's hard to find decent vintage-style quartz dive watches. Never warmed up to automatics for actual daily wear.
