wrapped up like a douche when you're rollin' in the night?

Haven't heard that version/parody... But the Manfred Mann version I like is spot on..Blinded by the light, revved up like a deuce...
Yep, that light blinded me and as always I am revved up just like the Ford Deuce Coupe was/is/always will be. Would love to have one.

Oops - meant to post this on the lounge - sorry!

Been using the H20vn a bit more this week.
Replaced the filter capacitors on my old Princeton Reverb and lots of trail work.
The magnet in the tail works great stuck to the chassis of the amp.

Even made an appearance as my backup bar light as I forgot my special tape wrapped 18650GA that I use in my CQVN's host.
The tape prevents the cell from bouncing and changing modes.
I've still got to solder in the stiffer spring Vinh sent me...

My buddy Mike about to drop in at sunset.

Beach hike - old pier pilings are quite exposed right now.

Cutting a new path through some ferns

Good stuff!

Public apology offered to Capolini. You don't need me to tell you how to speak your mind, sir. Sometimes I do stuff without thinking it through... good example being the time I tried to stuff all of granny's Beanie Babies into her casket. Y'all should've seen me and Clovis trying to close that stupid thing. Btw they sure don't make pine boxes like they used to.

that was my hang-up with the RC40vn40 I was afraid something much better and more powerful would come out as soon as I bought it...I mean its not like it went from 40k lumens to 45k lumens this one makes 100k lumens!!!!!

It's the most ridiculous jump in the smallest timeframe that I've ever heard of, it's like you bought a bow & arrow when they were first produced and then 2 weeks later the gun was invented lol.

Well crap. I've only had my x65vn a month and now this...

Showed the beam shot to my wife and received an immediate "NO!"

Oh, but explain to her that these two are quite complementary. One is a thrower and the other a flooder. ;)

These lights don't overlap X65vn is much different, plus your X65vn will hold max output for much longer than a 100K lumen light. People are still happily buying X65vn regardless of this light. I'm not big on flood, I'd take the X65vn first.

What I noticed in the video looked to be a quick adjustment by the camera on auto, adjusting brightness down.
Either that, or what I observed was a quick stepdown by the light.
I assume the former but it'd be cool to see with locked camera settings.

Either that 100,000 lumens steps down in a micro second, or the camera is adapting to the glare in a micro second.

Yeah I never got a reply I'm wondering the same thing. I don't have any skills with a camera but I also think it was the auto adjustment. Can anyone confirm either way?

Well, now that we've crossed that 100,000 lumen barrier, I have made some appropriate changes in my flashlight deployment.

Meet my 11,700 lumen TN36UTvn (Fiat Lux) keychain light...

It's still the best high lumen thrower IMO. The 670 would have twice the lumens but only about half the throw with XHP70s. But like LED said, neither overlaps with the 100k bolt of electricity that is this light.
