just bought one today from homedepot but no manual to tell how to install the battery???? (The biggest one, model number TUF4DPE)

They don't come with manuals. The best you will get is the photo/drawing on the back of the package. Check that out for tips. In the meantime try unscrewing the black plastic/rubber section at the rear of the housing. It should be counter-clockwise. Good luck.

Glad to help. The C size opens from the rear, as do most Ds. I guess Energizer decided to be different on the TU4. Good luck.
can i have pics of your TUF4DPE flashlight and beamshots?
