I have two old USN battle lamps but no batteries. There is no wiring diagram on them either. Inside there is a step cut wooden block with 2 curved "wings" of brass attached. I think it takes 2 of the tall, round 6 volt batteries. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanx

Here are a couple of pictures of the light I asked about. I believe it takes two 6 volt batteries about 5" high and 2 1/2" across.
