I searched through DX and Kai and only found battery cases that holds:
2xAAA,
4xAAA,
4xAA,
2xCR123A.

How do you guys store/carry
1 or 2 18650,
2xAA?

Fry's has some very nice 4AA and 2AA battery cases for 99c each. I've bought loads of them.

Edit: Oh, I just saw from your location you may not have a Fry's within reach. Sorry.

Either one fits nicely in the County Comm MPCC (Multi Purpose Carry Case) Probably fits 6x 18650s or 8x AAs. Or some combo thereof.

How do you guys store/carry 2xAA?
I use a pill bottle when I need to carry an extra pair of AA cells.

I would prefer something flat, but a pill bottle does the job nicely for my purposes.

I have 8xAA/AAA and 4xAA/AAA Powerex cases for storing them,
I also have some closeable plastic packs that Rayovac Alkaline cells come in (they looked useful so I kept them).

For DIY, I've currently got 12x 18650's stored in a 1m length of 20mm clear vinyl tubing from the hardware store. Irrigation fittings cap the ends nicely, and you can cut the tube to length for however many cells you want to pack in. Total cost, under $1 per cell for individual storage, or about $5 in my case to fit 12.

I'd be quite comfortable throwing these in my backpack.

That is what I am looking for the 2AA. Thanks.
I got my 2 cell AA cases from ThomasDistributing. 69 cents.

I'll go ask next time I'm at Walmart. (WalMart Canada does not carry the same stuff as WalMart USA)
For your lithium-ion 18650's, I like the water-tight camping match-holder solution, at WalMart for 99 cents.

That is called cooperation. I would have bought the clear one and be disappointed. Thanks all.
Nice. :)
Are you saying those holders take an 18650 cell?
Yes, they do ... but only the ocean blue and navy blue ones. The clear and the green tubes are too tight and fit only CR123A.

Update

I had ordered a couple 4AA, 4AAA, 2AAA, 2CR123A combo holder packages from DX. They shipped 2AA instead of 2AAA. Problem 1 solved.

I decided to splurge and get me a 18650 battery holder that can light up by itself if needed.

Battery holder left, P7 torch right.
My battery holder out throws my torch! :shakehead

I was half joking but...
My batteries do not fit properly in the L-Mini and I can not get reliable operation. So for now it is a battery holder.
I have more details in post #7 of your L-mimi thread.
Considering a LM a mere battery holder seems a bit of an insult. :p

Also the information I was looking for. Thx. I assume that, since they fit 4xCR123, that they would fit 2x18650... Is that the case?

Cases for 18650 and others

Guys, who sells 18650 cases and for that matter, does anyone have cases for ALL different batteries so I don't have to buy ONE here with shipping and one THERE with shipping. That shi* gets long after a while..

:(

Thanks

George

A Storm Case, or a Pelican. Core your own foam fitments. Tada!
