This runtime plot is for a Pelican PM-6 with a DownBoy 400 conversion module using a R2H LS LED and 2x123 Sure Fire batteries.

Equipment used is a photocell and a Radio Shack 22-805 multimeter with a PC interface that is using ScopeView software (v1.08).

The vertical axis is in mA and the horizontal axis in 30 minutes per division.

Be aware that your actual battery milage may vary from that indicted by this runtime plot.

Runtime to 50% Brightness = 4 hours 22 minutes
Regulated Runtime = 4 hours

LOCO is more like it.
So... in this case "approximately four hours" equals EXACTLY four hours. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif Thanks Roy. Ya just gotta love that flat output. I know *I* do!

NEW: Run-Time Plot - PM-6 R2H Downboy 400

Got a PM from CPF member "Mr Blue" asking if I would do a runtime plot on this light using my new Extech Light Adapter. He wanted to compare the PM-6 with the DB400 to some other lights, but needed the brightness axis in Fc. well here it is:

pm6b.jpg

Remember that with the Extech, 1mV is equivalent to 1Fc and since the measurments are made at one foot, we get 1Fc @ 1Ft which is equivalent to 1LUX @ 1M!

Here is another runtime plot on this light using the old photocell system.
