Hi!

Today I power up my Catapult V2 with Cytac 2400mAh 18650s.
I have used them for around a year or so in my Olight M20 warrior and now I want something new and fresh for the Catapult!;)

I simply want the most powerful, most long-lasting 18650s available.
And can I still charge them with my cytac charger or shall I get a PILA-charger or what do you recommend?

Greetings from Sweden

The BEST ....

Samsung 30A or Panasonic 2900 ...

I was looking for the panasonics on Ebay.
"Panasonic NCR18650 18650 2900mAh Li-ion 3.6v Battery x2"
But it seems that they are not protected from overcharging? Or am I wrong??

None of the Jap cells are protected ...

There seems to be a glut in the laptop battery market , so maybe some one with a bit of green will buy a few thousand Panasonics , put on a Protection circuit , and relabel them . :hitit:

But if you want the best !!! The Chinese cells dont come close to the Jap cells for performance [ discharge levels ] , if you need a lot of current , its Samsung or Panasonic . Otherwise check out the battery tests on this forum and chose wisely .

You will find AW's recommended ...

Ok, thank you very much for your answers!!

Only one problem left....

Do I need a spacer between the 2600mAh aw:s or is the 3 "dots" enough? My Catapult has a spring on positive so that is not a problem, but do I need something between the batteries....??
