Disassembling head of a Fenix TK41 (or TK60)?

I understand the threads are glued on these things... Anyone happen to know any good tricks to get it apart without damaging it? (heating it in an oven maybe? Some certain type of solvent?) I tried muscling it but it just ain't budging lol.

I'd like to get in there to change the LED emitter to one that's not such a "cold" color.

I think a heatgun, boiling and a strapwrench might be the best if not only options.

I'd hate to have to get rid of this light because of the LED, I really like everything about it other than it's (what seems about) 6000°K tint (not really wanting to use a filter either). :(
I might give the heat gun & a strap wrench a try then (hopefully I can get it to fit around the rubber button covers). I'll report back if I can muster up enough courage to try this lol.
