I just wanted to know if the flashlight looks proportional or not. I plan to buy the AA2 X but I wanted to put the 1232 body on it from the turbo X (didnt want to buy another body)

Also, is the Quark AA still worth buying now? Or would it be better to wait till something new to replace it is released? (I really want a AA quark but I'm not sure if they'll have something better soon after the SHOt show

I have both, and the light does not quite look proportional with the AA2 body (skinny body & fat head.) I've tried it on my Quark 123 (too stumpy) and my Quark AA (too short to hold & runtimes not good.) It looks best on my 18650 body (no longer being sold,) but I like it best on the 123x2 body that the Turbo X comes with....just a great size.

I think the Quark AA is well worth it, and is one of my must have lights. I edc a quark AA & have several other quarks that get regular use. I don't know if 4sevens is coming out with any kind of an upgrade to this light....wouldn't hurt to wait a until after the SHOT show.

TYVM for the advice, now I wish I would've picked up a couple 18650 bodies when they were available... Can't wait till next week to see what else is being released

The Quark Turbo "X" is a high voltage head (3.0v~9.0v)

The Quark "X" AA2 is a low voltage head (1.0v~4.2v)

You won't be able to use 2xCR123=6.0v or 2xRCR123=8.4v

have to agree with these comments, i have both the 9V and 4.2V heads. the 9V i run two 16340 LI-ION and on the 4.2V i run 14500, but the run times are too short for my use. so i got a 18650 from the marketplace. that should do me very well. you can put out feelers for the quark 18650's there somebody might be selling.

EDIT: just noticed that this is about the Turbo X sorry i was talking about the Quark X

With the turbo x head I was planning to use two 14500s in the AA body
