Enlightened
At bedtime my dog Philip the Dachshund likes to get up and dig in under the covers for a while. Being 15 years old (and a short dachshund) he can't get up unassisted, and is afraid to jump down in the dark.
To help him get down, I turn on my AAA (CPF edition) and shine it on the white ceiling. That little ritual started a couple weeks ago.
Now I turn off the lights in the room and when I turn on the AAA, he knows it's time and comes running to get up.
I tried it last night with a competitor's incandescent light and he just sat and stared at me like I was ready to take him to the vet's or something, then I turned on the AAA and he came right over.
