Hi all,
I'm a total noob, and ordered some ordered four RCR123 3.7V batteries (with charger) by mistake, now what can I do with them???
I can not use them in my flashlight which has a upper limit of 3.6v before it causes damage :shakehead

I can either buy a new flashlight to make use of the batteries, doh.
What flashlight can take RCR123 3.7v 3000mAh (yes they are labeled 3000mAh, but I have no way of confirming) batteries??
Most of the ones able to take 3.7v CRC123a's are rated at 500-800mAh

Or figure out how to re-purpose the batteries. (long shot here)
My airsoft bb gun does use a 7.4V Lipo 1600MAh 20C battery
can I rig them up 4x RCR123 (connected in Parallel)
crude acsi drawing:

7.4v device + ____(+ battery #1 -)_____(+ battery #2 -)
7.4v device - ____(+ battery #3 -)_____(+ battery #4 -)

What do you guys think?
Or if you have other suggestion, I'm open to ideas

thanks

The 3000mAh is a ludicrous claim. Since your light cannot handle 4.2V, you could either get an extra light that takes the RCR's, send them back, or try to sell them off (which might be hard, given their misleading capacity claim).
I will not comment on your other option, since I don't know enough about the cells (protection etc.) to make a sound judgement.
