I want to use this light in the darker seasons/ winter for use in the car (emergencies), for daily (nightly) walks with my dog (up to or over an hour) as well as geocaching at night (night caches, exploration for multiple hours including searching for small items far away in the woods).
So I am looking for a solid light with good throw and long runtime, preferably tough/ water resistant and rechargeable.
I have looked online at the NiteCore P16 or the Led Lenser M7R X, but I don't even know if these lights would fit my need, they seem a bit small.
