Just wondering, has anyone ever seen a flashlight that would take two 14500 batteries? I have kind of taken to using 14500's over 16350's as I can also use an AA in a pinch if I needed. I like using li-ion, but I find the CR123/16350 lights a little less practical. (Just my opinion, not looking to open up a debate)

I would prefer a 2x14500 light for a little more capacity/runtime, and have comparable output to a 2x RCR123/16350/18650 light.

Hmm never heard of that brand. I'll have to check it out.

If you will definitely be running only 2x14500, make sure that the drop in is rated for at least 8.4v. Ive got one assembled with a dropin to run 3.7 to 18v; I only wish I could run regular AA's in a pinch as well...

Yeah, I want it to accommodate both 14500 and AA...

If it will run 3.7-18V, 3xAA will provide sufficient voltage to run it. Just get the 3xAA extender, and you are good to go.
