Folks I was wondering if could get some advice. I am looking to get a large qty japanese 1900 mah eneloops, you know the 2100 cycles, 70% at 10 years spec etc.

I asked for a quote from Nkon on them here.
https://eu.nkon.nl/4-aa-eneloop-in-blister-1900mah.html

They suggested I get these instead saying they are the same but cheaper( however the blurb estimates 5 years, not 10 years)
https://ru.nkon.nl/rechargeable/aa-size/4-aa-eneloop-batterijen-bk-3mcce-in-case.html

I said no thanks, I'll have a quote on the ones originally linked.

So they send me a quote for the below. The same item as the first link I wanted, but with an .ru address instead of .eu
https://ru.nkon.nl/4-aa-eneloop-in-blister-1900mah.html

Its possible they are just trying to work out a cheaper deal for me, but wondered about the significance of the .eu vs .ru...??

Ok so they worked out a better deal for me, cool!

Yep, ru.nkon is good for non-EU countries!
The ones you linked to are batteries with blister pack vs non-blister pack in plastic case. The latter are from bulk, so cheaper!

Initially, I was thinking batteries on nkon.nl are a bit overpriced, at least by 50%. But when I went to Holland and checked their local store prices, nkon.nl is absolutely cheapest source for batteries in whole Holland :)

I don't mind the price, I just needed a store to export japanese eneloops to me which our distributors do not carry.

What is so special with Japanese Eneloops? Have specs that are noticeably better than chinese ones? And why not get AmazonBasics, which are same as Eneloops and also made in Japan?

I have been told the chinese eneloops are 60% power after 5 years, japanese are 70% after 10 years and 2100 cycles, and some reviews turn up poorer performance with the chinese batts. I am no expert in it, just going off advice from experienced members here on other threads. I am not familiar with the amazonbasics, I see one link showing only 500 cycles life though..
