Its a Kind of light.. that should have never been existed.....

EDIT: are there any Ideas.. to make other Animals work.. to drive Bigger & Higher Capacity Lights....

How about ... Keeping a Bull / Horse / Goat ?... Cats & Dogs ?

Not at all a dumb question. Sure you can (although you'd need a lot of poles or some gearing I suspect), but the efficiency would be worse. Best not to overtax our hamster, after all.

You could take a cow, plumb in a catalytic cracker and a fuel cell, both slung in an underbelly harness and charge your batteries 'in the field'.

They used to joke that the real source of all computing power comes from hamsters running inside the power supply unit, but this is the first time I've seen a production system /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/huh.gif

Gee, this gives me an idea....

How about setting up a whole field of wheels and breeding
a bunch of hamsters and letting them roam about the
wheels as free as they like. Now everyone knows a hamster
cant resist one of those running wheels, and hey, ever
see two or three run in the same wheel (?) ...more power
With enough hamsters and enough wheels, heck, you could
power your whole house! Who needs solar arrays...
rodent power is in! hee hee

Just dont let the neighbor's cat find out...ouch!
