I was looking at the plastic and rather distorted lens on my SL TT 2L. I would like to replace it with a UCL, but it appears to be epoxied in from the outside of the bezel.

I don't know if this is possible and before resorting to the big tools and breaking plastic, has anyone done this?
Could the new lens be retained by an o-ring or snap ring?

My forum searches did not turn up anything on this topic.

Thanks

Looking at the TT 1L, the lens looks to be pressure fitted into the bezel (same as my Scorpion.)

I would call up Streamlight and see what they can do for you. Usually that means sending the light in and getting the lens replaced.

I tried to punch out the lens on my Scorpion with a chopstick and it didn't quite work out, the sucker was in there like really good so I ended up making indentations from inside out lol.

Streamlight has replaced my Scorpion's lens (and a little while later the whole head unit itself), and replaced one of my first generation 4AA Propolymer xenon's with a new clicky type ones because the original one stopped working.
