I've been trying to understand what the "premium" and "standard" packages are. I've tried your "understanding the chart" link. But i haven't come up with much. What's in those different packages?

thanks!

Follow the columns down and look for the check mark, they include tritium, turbo head and for Draco also a AAA extension.

Quick question: Is the Draco supposed to blink everytime I turn it on or switch levels? The battery is fully charged.

After you turn it on for ~ 0.8s it will blink to confirm that the current mode is saved. The next time you turn it on it will be the same mode.

If you turn off your light before this blink occur, next time you turn it on, it will be the next mode.

Ah ok, thanks. Just wanted to be sure. Great light, by the way!

Jonathan, received my Drake today.
Perfect quality - incredible amount of light

Regarding the WF-138 charger: I've added a 1.5 Ohm resistor in series to R3 (and one to R17 for second slot) to limit the current to ~45mA

Thanks, Jochen

Greetings Jonathan. I am needing an additional Draco.

Could you confirm my math as follows:
Premium Chrome Draco $275
Subtract Nano -7 (no longer available)
Subtract Credit -7 (ref CPF post 46 dated 6-25-07)
US Ship 5
Chrome Ins 3.50

Total Cash price: $269.50

After your confirmation of my math PP will be on the way.

Thanks

I'm new to the forum, but really want to get a Draco.

I've been reading 20 different posts about it for hours and hours, but still have a few questions. Can someone help clarify a few questions I have so I can go ahead any pick out which one I want?

--The only colors available are: Chrome, TiCN, TiN, and AlTiN, correct?

--The tritium is only available with Chrome and TiCN, correct? If so, why is that?

--If I buy a standard package, can I add a tritium to it (I want to make sure there is a spot in the tail for the actual tritium piece)?

--What are the AAA Spacer and AAA extension? I thought the AAA was the same as a 10440 battery, but I don't see a 10440 battery on the price sheet.

Sorry the for the newb questions. Can't wait to pick out and purchase my Draco! Thanks!

Chrome is available on the aluminum version and the other three are available on titanium. AlTiN is the most popular and is what I have, but I'm going to either end up trading into a TiCN with it's smoky dark grey, or buying one!

Here's a couple pics from the "Drake or Draco" thread that really show the comparisons up close and also the trit slot, which is available on all of them is readily visible.

The first pic here also shows what a chrome Draco looks like without the extension and with one. My first Draco was exactly like this and I never even used it before I bought my AlTiN version, which is always with me now, on a neck lanyard. For me personally I don't want to make the Draco any bigger than it is and find it to be more than adequate for a couple weeks between charges without adding the extension.

You can also see a little difference between the head on the Draco's in the first picture compared to the others. I'm not sure but I believe the chrome ones are the original variation and have a round hole in the end instead of the trit slot that you see in the other pictures, and is available on all present variations of the Drake or Draco.

Draco chrome has been on my keychain for over 2 years and looks new.
I believe mine has TiCN coating:

kaichu dento,

Thanks for the pics and quick reply. It looks like your post was supposed to have several pictures in it, but I could only see one. Is this a mistake?

Thanks!
