I just got a Romisen RC-G2 II Q5 in the mail. It says it can run off 1.2v or 1.5v AA's. I have both. I have some cheap radioshack branded AA's and i also have an abundance of eneloop AA's.

Which one will produce more light and which one will have a longer runtime?

The answer to this is complicated. No battery has a fixed voltage, it varies somewhere between 1.1 V and 1.6 V depending on the battery, the state of charge and the amount of current drawn by the load.

Since you have a variety of batteries available, why don't you satisfy your curiosity by experimenting with all the batteries you have and seeing which ones do best in your own judgement?

The best information is always the information you find out from your own experience, rather than information told you by someone else. :)
