What's the correct terminology for the 'right angle' lights?

Not a problem.....But, yikes...that kind of makes it sound like it has low light output.

Re: My first purchase as a humble member of CPF :) Oh....and I meant for the title to read "My first humble purchase..." rather than to call myself humble. :duh2:

My first humble purchase as a member of CPF :)

Re: My first purchase as a humble member of CPF :) Thanks, I hope I like it. That was my only concern - the output. If it'll light up the a wall, it'll be fine.

What's the correct terminology for the 'right angle' lights?

I'm supposed to pick up a MC11 on Tuesday or Wednesday. I'll submit a review for what it's worth.

My first humble purchase as a member of CPF :)

So, turns out "Flashlight Guy" (on YouTube - not sure if he's on here?) lives relatively close to me and carries the Fenix line, which works out well because I'm 99% positive I want the MC11. Supposed to meet him Tuesday or Wednesday to pick it up. It'll suit my needs pretty well. Wearing a...

What's the correct terminology for the 'right angle' lights?

Thank you for the links. I only searched in the "Reviews" section. I'll check those out. I'm glad to hear you like it, I'm heavily leaning toward it due to the angled head. Do you by chance have any pictures of it lighting up a room?

What's the correct terminology for the 'right angle' lights?

Thanks guys. I like that one, but can't find any reviews on CPF about it. I'll check out the You Tube videos and go from there I guess. One of these would really fit the bill.

What's the correct terminology for the 'right angle' lights?

I've seen a couple in some of the videos I watched, but forget the term. Are any of them in the $40 range?

    Small, flood, $40 (+/-)...?

Yes, that's what I meant. I guess "offline" wasn't the proper word. I'm not wary about buying online, I just don't want to have to wait if a battery dies. If whatever flashlight I decide on has a hard-to-find battery, I'll buy two to start with I guess. Yeah, I like the Xeno E03 V3. I've got...

    Small, flood, $40 (+/-)...?

I watched that video earlier - looks like a great light with a lot of features for the price. It's in my "bookmarks". Thanks for the recommendation! Just watched a video of the Mini 123...that thing seems to have pretty amazing output for it's size! I won't use these a TON, so battery life...

    Small, flood, $40 (+/-)...?

Good points...Click or twist doesn't matter. What I would prefer is a key ring (or lanyard) so I can secure it to my tool pouch. I'm up in the air on a short and stout light or more of a pen-style light.

    Small, flood, $40 (+/-)...?

Thanks guys...I really appreciate it. I'm watching videos for all of those and they all look like pretty good options. I guess most people do the tests outside, because that's where they'll use them. I'll be using mine primarily in attics (for my job), so I wish there were more videos showing...

    Small, flood, $40 (+/-)...?

I'm searching lots, so go easy on the "use the search" comments. :) As the title states, I'm looking for a good flood (primarily), somewhere around $40 (or less), small in size (3" - 5" or so?). I know that's on the "cheapie"/low-end of what most of you guys buy, but that's my price range...
